In parallel, private sellers offer their items to treasure hunters throughout the day, from 8 am to 6 pm. The atmosphere is family-friendly and the day allows for a pleasant combination of treasure hunting and entertainment.

The Romorantin-Lanthenay Flea Market and Gendarmerie Village returns on Sunday, June 7, 2026, on the Esplanade de la Pyramide. Organized by the Amicale des gendarmes de Romorantin, the event combines a flea market open to individuals with an exhibition village featuring several gendarmerie units, with dynamic demonstrations throughout the day.
A flea market and gendarmerie village united on the Esplanade de la Pyramide
For its 2026 edition, the Amicale des gendarmes de Romorantin offers a format combining two complementary worlds: on one side, a flea market open to individuals, where bargain hunters can find bric-a-brac, toys, clothes, and small everyday objects; on the other, an exhibition village entirely dedicated to the gendarmerie, with several units present in fixed stands and dynamic demonstrations organized throughout the day.
The event takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, on the Esplanade de la Pyramide in Romorantin-Lanthenay (Loir-et-Cher). Exhibitor setup is early in the morning (from 6 am), for a public opening in the morning. The proceeds from the event are donated to the Amicale des gendarmes de Romorantin.
Exhibitor Information
The proposed pitches measure 5 meters by 5 meters and include the possibility of parking a vehicle on the pitch. Registration is done in advance with the organizer (a sworn statement must be submitted before the event). The price per linear meter and the exact number of available pitches should be requested directly from the Amicale des gendarmes de Romorantin.
