On the last Sunday of July 2025, the streets of the medieval village of Vernassal hosted the annual car boot sale of the Friends of Vernassal. Around 80 exhibitors enlivened the alleys and squares of the town, offering a good variety of items to visitors from all over the Velay region. A successful edition in this remarkable heritage setting.

Friends of Vernassal Car Boot Sale 2025
On the last Sunday of July 2025, Les Amis de Vernassal once again enlivened the streets and squares of this medieval village in Haute-Loire. With around 80 exhibitors set up from 5 am along the basalt alleys, the car boot sale offered visitors a unique treasure hunting experience in an exceptional heritage setting. Visitors and exhibitors alike appreciated the special atmosphere of this event integrated into the medieval architecture of the village.
Affordable rates at €5 for 5 meters or €10 for 10 meters, refreshment stand and catering on-site, parking north and south of the village: everything was in place for a great summer treasure hunting day. Free entry for visitors helped attract a large crowd on this last Sunday of July.
