The Friends of the Organ car boot sale is more than just a flea market: it is a solidarity event for the restoration of the historic organ in the church of Clairvaux-les-Lacs. Every summer, the association organizes this flea market day in the parking lot of the village hall, in the heart of the town, attracting bargain hunters and summer strollers.

Bargain hunting in the heart of the lake district

The car boot sale takes over the village hall parking lot, located near the center of Clairvaux-les-Lacs. From 7 am to 6 pm, private sellers offer a wide variety of second-hand items: crockery, books, toys, clothes, trinkets, and small furniture. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, typical of village car boot sales in the Haut-Jura.

The Friends of the Organ association

Founded to preserve and promote the organ heritage of Clairvaux-les-Lacs, the association Les Amis de l'Orgue also organizes concerts and visits throughout the year. The car boot sale is one of its main sources of funding, allowing the restoration work on the instrument to continue.
