The Frasne diving club's car boot sale, 5th edition

For its 5th edition, the car boot sale organized by Frasne Plongée is once again taking place on May 1st, 2026 in the U Express car park, at the exit of Frasne in the direction of Cuvier. This diving club from the Haut-Doubs, also practicing freediving and known for its ice diving trips in the Jura lakes, organizes this car boot sale every Labor Day to fund its activities.

About fifty exhibitors in a mountain setting

Around 50 exhibitors — mainly individuals from the Frasne and Haut-Doubs area — offer clothing, toys, various equipment, books, and second-hand items. The formula is simple and accessible: a rate of 2 euros per meter, with payment on site. A refreshment stand and a fast food service liven up the day. Entry is free for visitors.

Frasne, a village of Nordic skiing and diving

Frasne (25560), located between 803 and 850 meters above sea level, is a commune in the Haut-Doubs known for its Nordic cross-country skiing area and its access to the Plaine d'Arlier, one of the largest peatland areas in France. Less than a kilometer from the Frasne TGV station — a stop for the Paris-Lausanne Eurostar — the village enjoys an exceptional location between mountains and wetlands. The Frasne Plongée club practices diving in lakes and quarries in the Jura and Doubs regions.
