Puttelange-aux-Lacs offers two flea market events in June: one at the football stadium and the other on the Place du Chateau. These two events offer different but complementary settings for treasure hunters in the area.

Puttelange-aux-Lacs derives its name from the ponds surrounding the commune. Historically linked to rock salt mining, the town has preserved a rich industrial and natural heritage. The ponds, forests, and meadows form a bucolic landscape that attracts fishermen and walkers. The Place du Chateau, in the center of the village, recalls the existence of an old medieval castle of which only vestiges remain.
