Rochefort is a city of art and history founded in 1666 by Colbert to become the largest maritime arsenal in the Kingdom of France. The Corderie Royale, a 374-meter-long building listed as a historic monument, the frigate L'Hermione rebuilt identically, the Transporter Bridge, and the Napoleonic thermal baths make this city a remarkable heritage site. The monthly car boot sale and flea market fits perfectly into this atmosphere of discovery and curiosity that characterizes Rochefort.
Access to the car boot sale and flea market is free for visitors, making it an accessible Sunday outing for everyone. Exhibitors pay a fee of 7 euros for a 2m x 2m pitch, with no prior reservation required; registration is done directly on site. Exhibitors can arrive from 6 a.m., with access closing at 7:45 a.m. The event continues until 5:30 p.m., giving treasure hunters plenty of time to browse and negotiate at the stalls.
