Every year in June, the Croix Verte neighborhood in Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande organizes its big car boot sale along the Allée de la Gautrais and in the adjacent streets. Approximately 300 private sellers take over this residential area to offer clothing, toys, books, tableware, small furniture and various objects. The event, which benefits from a pleasant, tree-lined setting, attracts bargain hunters from the south of Rennes and neighboring towns.
