On August 30, 2026, the Tétras Libre Wildlife Rescue Centre organises its annual flea market at La Traverse, allée du Lac de Constance, in Le Bourget-du-Lac. This charity event offers the chance to browse for bargains while supporting a noble cause: the protection and rehabilitation of injured or orphaned wild animals in Savoie.
Tétras Libre is a care centre dedicated to wildlife that takes in, treats and rehabilitates hundreds of injured or distressed animals each year: birds of prey, deer, hedgehogs, squirrels, migratory birds and many other wild species. Proceeds go directly to veterinary care funding, food and facility maintenance.
The La Traverse location, on the edge of Lac du Bourget, provides a green and pleasant setting. Private sellers offer a wide variety of items: clothing, books, toys, kitchenware, decorative objects, small furniture and various equipment.
Le Bourget-du-Lac is a popular commune south of Lac du Bourget, offering managed beaches, a marina and numerous lakeside walking paths.
