The GIANT Car Boot Sale of the Lions Club Céret Vallespir Aspres is undoubtedly one of the most important treasure-hunting events in the south of the Pyrénées-Orientales. With its 300 private exhibitors spread over the large Place Henri Guitard, it offers an exceptional day of treasure hunting every year, where you can find everything: clothes, toys, old and recent books, dishes, utensils, furniture, trinkets, vinyl records, video games, bicycles, tools, vinyls, antiques, and curiosities. The scale of the event attracts bargain hunters and visitors from all over the department and even from neighboring departments.

A charitable action by the Lions Club

Organized by the Lions Club Céret Vallespir Aspres, this giant car boot sale is one of the club's main annual sources of funding. The proceeds generated by the pitches (€10 for 4 linear meters) are entirely donated to the charitable causes supported by the club throughout the year: assistance to families in difficulty, support for sick children, local social actions, fight against eye diseases (an emblematic cause of Lions Clubs), etc. Bargain hunting here also means contributing to concrete solidarity actions in the Vallespir.

Céret, capital of cubism and gateway to the Vallespir

Céret is one of the most emblematic cities in the south of the Pyrénées-Orientales.
