A solidarity car boot sale every Saturday in Porto-Vecchio

Every Saturday, the Corse Parkinson association organizes a car boot sale on the private land of Bar Pimpan, in Porto-Vecchio (20137). This weekly event, open from 7 am to 2 pm, welcomes up to 30 individual exhibitors in a friendly atmosphere, for the benefit of supporting people with Parkinson's disease and their families.

The Corse Parkinson association

Corse Parkinson is an association in the South-East of Corsica committed to supporting patients with Parkinson's disease and their loved ones. Through its car boot sales — weekly on Saturdays at Bar Pimpan and monthly on the first Sunday of the month at the Weldom parking lot — the association raises funds to finance its actions of aid, information, and patient support.

Organization and registration

This Saturday car boot sale is reserved for individuals, with priority given to residents of the Communauté de Communes Sud Corse. Flea market professionals are not admitted.

Registrations are made by phone only (no SMS, no MMS), on the Wednesday and Thursday preceding the car boot sale, between 12 pm and 2 pm. The number of pitches is limited to 30 exhibitors, so it is advisable to register quickly as soon as registrations open.

Bar Pimpan, a local setting

Located in Porto-Vecchio, Bar Pimpan makes its private land available each week to host this solidarity event. Porto-Vecchio, nestled at the southern tip of Corsica, is a dynamic commune in Corse-du-Sud (2A) that attracts both permanent residents and a large number of visitors, especially in summer. The Saturday car boot sale is therefore a popular event for locals and tourists alike, allowing them to hunt for second-hand items while supporting a local cause.

Free entry

Access to the car boot sale is free for visitors. Bargain hunters and the curious can browse freely among the stalls and find items, clothes, books, and trinkets at low prices.
