A Monthly Solidarity Car Boot Sale in Porto-Vecchio

Every first Sunday of the month, the Corse Parkinson association organizes a car boot sale in the Weldom parking lot, Avenue de Bastia in Porto-Vecchio (20137). This monthly event, open from 7 am to 1 pm, brings together up to 50 individual exhibitors in a friendly atmosphere, for the benefit of supporting people with Parkinson's disease and their loved ones.

The Corse Parkinson Association

Corse Parkinson is an association in the South-East of Corsica dedicated to supporting patients with Parkinson's disease and their families. It regularly organizes fundraising events – including this monthly car boot sale and a weekly Saturday edition – to finance its aid, information, and patient support activities.

Organization and Registration

The monthly car boot sale is reserved for individuals, with priority given to residents of the Sud Corse Community of Communes. Professional flea market traders are not accepted.

Registrations are made by phone only (no SMS, no MMS), on the Wednesday and Thursday preceding the event, between 12 pm and 2 pm. Setup is possible from 6 am on the day of the car boot sale.

Exhibitors can choose from several time slots: 7 am-1 pm, 7 am-5 pm, or 1 pm-5 pm. As the number of places is limited to 50 exhibitors, it is advisable to contact the association as soon as registration opens.

Porto-Vecchio and the Weldom Parking Lot

The Weldom parking lot, located on Avenue de Bastia, benefits from a convenient location at the entrance of Porto-Vecchio, easily accessible from residential areas and main roads. Porto-Vecchio, the capital of South-East Corsica with over 11,000 inhabitants, is a commune in Corse-du-Sud (2A) known for its spectacular landscapes and Genoese heritage. This monthly car boot sale offers residents and tourists alike an ideal opportunity to hunt for treasures while supporting an important local cause.

Free Entry for Visitors

Access to the car boot sale is completely free for visitors. Bargain hunters and onlookers are welcome to browse the stalls filled with second-hand items, clothing, trinkets, books, and other finds.
