Each year, the village of Bach (46230), located on the heights of the Causse du Quercy Blanc in the Lot, celebrates its big car boot sale organized by the local Festival Committee. The 22nd edition of this popular event brought together about 90 private exhibitors on the church square, confirming the vitality of this summer event in a dynamic rural commune.

The Festival Committee of Bach is the association that animates the festive life of this village in Quercy. For over twenty years, it has regularly and seriously organized this annual car boot sale, which has become an unmissable event for the inhabitants of the village and surrounding communes. The loyalty of exhibitors and visitors testifies to the local community's attachment to this simple and authentic event.

Around 90 Exhibitors on the Church Square

The church square of Bach hosts about a hundred private exhibitors each year, who come to clear out their attics and cellars of their second-hand items. Clothes, shoes, toys, books, dishes, small furniture, and various curiosities are offered to bargain hunters and visitors in a relaxed atmosphere of a village market. Pitches are reserved by phone only, at a rate of €3 per linear meter with a depth of 1.50 m. Exhibitors can set up from 6 am.

Bach and the Causse du Quercy Blanc

Bach is a typical village of the Causse du Quercy, an open and bright limestone plateau that extends south of the Lot, between the Célé and Lot valleys. The commune is known for its causse landscapes, its dolmens, and its dry stone walls, witnesses of millennia of human occupation. The village, peaceful and authentic, retains its Romanesque church and its pale stone houses, reflecting traditional Quercy architecture.

The Car Boot Sale of Bach is held annually on a variable date (generally in spring or summer), on the church square, from 9 am to 5 pm. Approximately 90 private exhibitors. Price: €3 / linear meter (depth 1.50 m). Reservation by phone only. Free entry. Refreshments and light catering on site.
