For 34 years, the Association des Parents d'Élèves de Gréalou (46160) has unfailingly organized its car boot sale on Pentecost Sunday, at the village hall esplanade. With a record 141 exhibitors and over three decades of loyalty, this event is one of the most established flea market gatherings in Quercy blanc, a local institution loved by residents and flea market enthusiasts from the Lot.
The village hall esplanade in Gréalou transforms every Pentecost into a vast second-hand market. Up to 141 private exhibitors set up their stalls to offer furniture, tableware, books, clothing, toys, tools, and objects of all kinds. The variety and number of participants make this flea market an event where bargains and unexpected discoveries await.
Individuals mingle with amateur flea market sellers in a warm atmosphere, typical of village car boot sales. Pentecost weather is often clement, so the event usually takes place outdoors, under the blue skies of Quercy blanc.
Having organized 34 consecutive editions of a car boot sale in a rural village in the Lot is a remarkable achievement, testifying to the lasting commitment of the APE de Gréalou and the local community's attachment to this event. Every Pentecost, residents of Gréalou and neighboring towns—Cajarc, Calvignac, Sauliac, Figeac—gather for this event, which has become a true pillar of local social life.
The Association des Parents d'Élèves de Gréalou has been organizing this flea market since its first edition. The profits generated help fund school activities and educational projects for the students of Gréalou's schools. Participating in this event, as an exhibitor or visitor, directly supports the village school.
The Brocante Vide-Grenier de Gréalou returns for its 35th edition on Pentecost Sunday 2026. APE, village hall esplanade, up to 141 exhibitors. Free entry, catering on site.
