The Nanchez Car Boot Sale

The Envergures association organizes a car boot sale every summer in the village of Nanchez, in the heart of the Haut-Jura. From 6 am to 7 pm, private sellers offer their second-hand items in the village streets, at €2 per linear meter. The event is held rain or shine, with catering indoors. It is one of the few car boot sales in the region that guarantees its continuation in all weather conditions.

A Village in the Haut-Jura

Nanchez is a small village located at an altitude of approximately 800 meters, between Champagnole and Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux. Surrounded by coniferous forests and pastures, it is part of the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park. The mountainous setting and the cool altitude offer a pleasant backdrop for a summer treasure hunting day. The village is located near the lakes of Chalain and Ilay, major tourist attractions in the Jura.

A Friendly Flea Market

The Envergures association makes it a point of honor to offer a friendly and accessible event for everyone. The car boot sale is open very early in the morning from 6 am to satisfy the earliest treasure hunters, and continues until late afternoon at 7 pm. You can find the classics of flea markets: crockery, toys, clothes, trinkets, books, and various second-hand items.

Catering and Friendliness

Meals are offered on-site, indoors in case of bad weather, which guarantees the event will take place in all conditions. Local cuisine and cold drinks allow for a full day in this mountainous setting. The pitch at €2 per linear meter remains very affordable for exhibitors wishing to participate in this day of flea marketing at altitude, in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the Haut-Jura.
