The Bourg-Philippe Car Boot Sale and Artisans' Market in Chemazé

The Bourg-Philippe Car Boot Sale and Artisans' Market, a hamlet of the commune of Chemazé (53200, Mayenne), is organized by the Association for the Safeguarding of Saint-Léonard Church of Bourg-Philippe. The event combines a car boot sale open to individuals and an artisans' market, and traditionally takes place on a Sunday in June at the locality known as Le Bois des Noës.

All proceeds (pitch rentals, refreshment stand, snacks) finance the restoration and maintenance work of Saint-Léonard Church, one of Chemazé's three historic bell towers (along with Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in the village and Saint-Pierre in Molières).

The last documented edition was held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 8 am to 6 pm, with a pitch costing 10 € for exhibitors and free entry for visitors (refreshment stand and light catering provided on site by the association).
