Every fourth Sunday in April, the municipality of Mercin-et-Vaux hosts its large annual flea market, one of the most important events in the Soissonnais flea market calendar. With over 250 exhibitors, both private individuals and professionals, this event stretches along Rue du Chemin Vert, around Maison Blanche and Espace Chemin Vert.

A constantly growing event

For several years, the Mercin-et-Vaux flea market has seen increasing attendance. The number of exhibitors continues to grow, demonstrating the attractiveness of this spring event. Located between Soissons and Vic-sur-Aisne, in immediate proximity to the Aisne valley, the town benefits from an ideal geographical location to attract a large public of bargain hunters.

Careful municipal organization

Organized directly by the municipality of Mercin-et-Vaux, this flea market benefits from the support of numerous volunteers who ensure the reception of exhibitors, signage, and logistics. From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors browse the aisles in search of furniture, tableware, trinkets, clothing, and various objects.
