Every May 8th, a public holiday, the village of Yssandon hosts its traditional car boot sale organized by the Parents' Association. The event takes place rue Jean Prodel, in a rural and friendly setting that attracts bargain hunters from the Brive and Objat area.
Between 50 and 100 exhibitors set up each year along Rue Jean Prodel, offering clothes, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, and everyday items. Pitches are offered at 3 euros per linear meter, with a supplement of 6 euros for those who wish to park their vehicle directly on their pitch. Coffee is offered to each exhibitor upon arrival.
Yssandon is a hilltop village in Corrèze, located between Brive-la-Gaillarde and Objat, known for its Gallo-Roman site and its remarkable panorama over the Corrèze mountains. The May 8th car boot sale is an opportunity to discover this charming village while enjoying a day of outdoor bargain hunting.
The APE implements one-way traffic during exhibitor setup to facilitate access. The refreshment stand is run by volunteers, with profits going towards the school activities of Yssandon's children. Entry is free for visitors.
