The car boot sale and craft market of the parents' association of Collège Maryse Bastié in Dole
The APE of Collège Maryse Bastié in Dole organizes a car boot sale and craft market every spring in the college car park, avenue Léon Jouhaux. This event, which combines a private sale and crafts, helps to fund educational projects, school trips, and educational activities offered to the college students.
The originality of this event lies in its dual nature: alongside classic car boot sale stalls, local artisans and creators present their work. Handmade jewelry, decorative items, textile creations, and artisanal products are displayed alongside second-hand crockery, toys, clothing, and trinkets. A differentiated rate applies: 2 euros per meter for individuals and 3 euros for artisans.
Collège Maryse Bastié, named after the famous French aviatrix, is one of Dole's secondary schools. Located avenue Léon Jouhaux, in a residential area of the town, it hosts several hundred students. The very active APE regularly organizes events to liven up school life and bring families together.
From 8 am to 6 pm, the college car park comes alive for this day of treasure hunting and artisanal discovery. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with many families from the neighborhood and surrounding areas coming to hunt for bargains and discover the creations of local artisans. It is also an opportunity to meet up with parents, former students, and local residents in a convivial spirit.
