The Champvans Twinning Craft Fair and Flea Market

Champvans is a commune in the Dole urban area, located a few kilometers southwest of the Jura sub-prefecture. Every year in April, the Twinning Committee organizes a craft fair combined with a flea market that attracts residents from the commune and surrounding areas.

An event that combines crafts and treasure hunting

The originality of this event lies in its dual format: on one hand, the traditional flea market where bargain hunters sift through furniture, trinkets, tableware, and various objects; on the other hand, a craft fair that highlights local artisans and creators. Potters, woodturners, jewelers, cutlers, and other art craftsmen present their creations, offering visitors a panorama of the know-how of the Jura region.

A spring gathering

The fair takes place at the village hall and its car park, avenue de la Gare. This central and spacious location comfortably accommodates exhibitors and visitors. The event is generally held on the third Sunday of April, marking the return of good weather in the Dole plain.
