The family car boot sale of the small village of Josse
Each spring, the Association des Parents d'Élèves of the Josse school organizes a car boot sale in the village hall. This event, which brings together about 45 exhibitors, helps to finance the children's outings and educational projects at the municipal school. Individuals offer toys, clothes, crockery, and various items at reduced prices.
The Josse car boot sale offers two options for exhibitors: indoor tables (provided) at 8 euros for 2 linear meters, and outdoor pitches at 3 euros. This double configuration allows for treasure hunting regardless of the weather conditions, with indoor stands sheltered in the village hall while outdoor stalls set up around the village.
Josse is a rural commune of about 700 inhabitants, located halfway between Dax and the beaches of the Landes coast. Its 12th-century church and its typical rural setting in the Landes hinterland make it a pleasant place to visit. The village benefits from the proximity of the A63 motorway, which facilitates access for treasure hunters coming from Bayonne or Dax.
