Goudargues Rétro Passion: Vintage vehicles and flea market in Gard rhodanien

Goudargues Rétro Passion is a unique event in the Gard's flea market and heritage calendar: it brings together the passion for vintage vehicles and the pleasure of treasure hunting in the same setting. Organized every year on Ascension Day by the Amicale 203 Peugeot Provence in partnership with the shopkeepers of Goudargues, the gathering welcomes cars, motorcycles, tractors, and trucks from before 1975, as well as Citroën 2CVs up to the 1990 model year.

Vehicle setup begins before 9 am and festivities continue until 6 pm, offering a full day of entertainment. The flea market is integrated into the event, with stands run by local shopkeepers and exhibitors registered with the Goudargues shopkeepers' association. Vintage fashion shows, pin-up entertainment, on-site catering, and other surprises complete a rich and festive program.

Goudargues, the Venice of the Gard

Goudargues is a village in the Gard rhodanien, nicknamed the « Venice of the Gard » because of its canal lined with century-old plane trees that runs through the main square. This exceptional setting, one of the most beautiful villages in the Gard, gives Goudargues Rétro Passion an incomparable backdrop where vintage cars are reflected in the calm waters of the canal.

The village is located about fifteen kilometers from Bagnols-sur-Cèze and an hour from Nîmes or Avignon. The Gard rhodanien region, known for its vineyards, lavender fields, and hilltop villages, is a popular tourist destination. Goudargues Rétro Passion attracts enthusiasts from all over the Occitanie region and the neighboring regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
