The Souriceaux Intellos car boot sale: treasure hunting in one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France

Every year in March, the association Les Souriceaux Intellos d'Aiguèze organizes its annual car boot sale in the streets and on the Place du Jeu de Paume of this exceptional village. Perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the confluence of the Ardèche and the Rhône, Aiguèze (30760) is part of the select circle of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, a label that attests to the quality of its built heritage and the beauty of its site.

About fifty exhibitors in an exceptional setting

The event brings together around 50 exhibitors, individuals and association volunteers, who offer clothing, toys, books, dishes, and everyday objects. The car boot sale is held from 8 am to 5:30 pm on the Place du Jeu de Paume and in the village alleys. This medieval architectural setting, with its stone houses, towers, and ramparts, offers a unique atmosphere to this car boot sale, very different from usual markets.

The Les Souriceaux Intellos association

Chaired by Marion Bertet, the Les Souriceaux Intellos association works for the community and associative activities of the village of Aiguèze and its children. The profits from the car boot sale are entirely reinvested in the association's activities for the benefit of the town's youth. A team of volunteers ensures the running of a crêpe and drinks stand throughout the day, contributing to the festive atmosphere of the event.

Aiguèze, a jewel of the Gard rhodanien

Aiguèze (30760) is one of the most spectacular villages in the Gard rhodanien, located at the extreme northeast of the department, facing the confluence of the Ardèche and the Rhône. Its medieval keep, its ramparts, its cobbled streets, and its breathtaking view of the Gorges de l'Ardèche make it a popular tourist destination. This car boot sale is an opportunity to discover or revisit this classified village, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, very different from the high tourist season.

The car boot sale is held on the Place du Jeu de Paume and in the streets of Aiguèze, generally on the 3rd or 4th Sunday of March. Hours: 8 am to 5:30 pm. Free entry.
