This parents' association, founded in 1988, mobilizes its volunteers to offer the town a popular and friendly event at the start of the good weather. Place du Sablas is transformed for the occasion into a vast second-hand market where individuals and families come to hunt for treasures, sell, and share a moment of village life.

Exhibitors — essentially individuals from the village and surrounding towns — offer a wide variety of goods: clothes and shoes for children and adults, furniture and decorative items, tableware and kitchenware, books and comics, toys and board games, tools and garden equipment, trinkets and flea market items. The diversity of stalls, typical of private car boot sales, encourages bargains and unexpected discoveries for visitors who stroll all day under the Ardèche sun.

The car boot sale is open from 8 am to 6 pm. Entry is completely free for visitors. Individuals wishing to exhibit must register by email at [email protected]: the fee is €10 for a 3-meter space. Catering is provided on-site by the association, allowing exhibitors and visitors to eat without leaving the premises.

The APE La Tirelire du Grain de Sel

Founded in 1988, the APE La Tirelire du Grain de Sel is the parents' association for the school in Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche.
