The swap meet of Locunolé, the autumn gathering for bargain hunters in the Pays de Quimperlé
Locunolé is a small village in Finistère (29310) nestled in a green setting, between the river Ellé and the forests of the Pays de Quimperlé. Every year in September, the town comes alive for a swap meet that brings together individuals and flea market vendors offering their finds to second-hand enthusiasts in the area.
This friendly event is an opportunity to browse the aisles in search of a rare item or a forgotten piece of furniture, in a typical village festival atmosphere of this part of the interior of Finistère. Antique furniture, tableware, clothing, books, toys, and trinkets of all kinds are displayed on the stalls, much to the delight of bargain hunters.
Locunolé is part of the Quimperlé Communauté intercommunal structure. The village and its surroundings offer an authentic setting for this type of event, far from the hustle and bustle of large urban fairs. The event contributes to enlivening local life and bringing the population together for a moment of conviviality and circular economy.
The town of Locunolé is accessible from Quimperlé (about 10 km away) by the departmental road. Flea market enthusiasts appreciate these rural gatherings, often rich in surprises and unexpected discoveries.
