The Building Materials Flea Market is an original and innovative event held in the Bressuire bocage and Thouarsais regions. Born from the initiative of Réseau Recto Verso, an association dedicated to the circular economy in northern Deux-Sèvres, this event aims to facilitate public access to professional construction materials at reduced prices, while fighting waste in the building sector.

A Unique Concept in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

The principle is simple but effective: local construction companies open their doors for two days to sell surplus materials, end-of-stock items, downgraded or unsold materials. Tiles, bricks, flooring, wood, bathroom fixtures, hardware, tools... individuals can find professional-quality materials at very attractive prices, directly at the premises of participating companies.

An Eco-Friendly Approach Driven by the Territory

Réseau Recto Verso, initiated in 2016 by the Bocage Bressuirais agglomeration community and managed since 2018 by a business association, works daily to promote cooperation and mutual action between local economic actors in the field of circular economy. The Building Materials Flea Market fully embodies this virtuous approach, giving a second life to materials that would otherwise have been discarded or unnecessarily stored.

A Decentralized, Itinerant Event

Unlike a traditional flea market, the Building Materials Flea Market does not take place in a single location but directly at the premises of participating companies, spread across the Bressuire bocage and Thouarsais territory. An interactive map helps visitors locate the various sales points, with addresses and opening hours for each company.

Practical Information for Visitors

Access to the various sites is free. Opening hours may vary by participating company, with some only opening on Friday or Saturday. It is recommended to check the participant map before visiting. Bressuire is accessible from Niort or Poitiers by road.
