Every spring, the town of Villedieu-sur-Indre hosts its annual flea market, an event eagerly awaited by treasure hunters from the Indre valley. Exhibitors, both professional and private, offer antique furniture, trinkets, tableware, books, toys, clothing, tools, and bric-a-brac in the picturesque streets of the town center. The medieval setting of the town gives the event a unique charm.
Villedieu-sur-Indre is a commune of about 2,800 inhabitants located about twenty kilometers west of ChΓ’teauroux.
