Edition Mai 2025 — Brocante Saint-Jean-d'Angély
The Brocante Vide-Greniers de Saint-Jean-d'Angély took place on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the Plan d'eau de Bernouet. Organized by the local Lions Club, the event brought together between 100 and 200 exhibitors in a shaded setting by the water. Flea market items, trinkets, vintage tableware, books, and toys were offered to bargain hunters from the Vallée de la Boutonne. The refreshment stand and fast food service on site contributed to the friendly atmosphere of this solidarity day.

The Plan d'eau de Bernouet hosted the annual flea market and car boot sale of Saint-Jean-d'Angély on Sunday, May 11, 2025, under the organization of the town's Lions Club. From 6:30 AM, exhibitors set up their stalls along the avenue de Marennes, in the green and shaded setting of this leisure area by the Boutonne river.
Visitors, with free entry from 8:30 AM, browsed through stalls offering a varied assortment of flea market items, trinkets, vintage tableware, second-hand books, and toys. The complimentary coffee for exhibitors and the fast food service punctuated this spring bargain hunting day in a warm atmosphere.
The proceeds from the event were entirely donated to the Lions Club's charitable activities. The next edition is scheduled for May 2026, still at the Plan d'eau de Bernouet.
