The GERAUD Flea Market in the heart of Meung-sur-Loire

Every November 11th, while France commemorates the centenary of the Armistice, Meung-sur-Loire lives to the rhythm of its great annual flea market. Organized by GERAUD & Associés, this event brings together around 150 exhibitors in the historic center of the town, creating a unique commercial and festive atmosphere on this public holiday.

The GERAUD flea market is distinguished by its diversity: professional antique dealers rub shoulders with individuals who have come to clear out their attics. This complementarity offers visitors a remarkable range of finds, from carefully selected antiques to more modest flea market items, as well as second-hand lots offered by neighborhood residents.

The event takes place outdoors, in the streets and squares of the city center of Meung-sur-Loire. From 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., the stalls stretch along the shopping streets, creating an atmosphere that transforms the medieval town into a true open-air market.

Meung-sur-Loire is one of the most historically rich towns in the Loiret region. Its castle, a former residence of the bishops of Orléans, has dominated the city since the 12th century. François Villon was imprisoned there, Charles VII stayed there, and the ramparts still bear witness to the medieval power of the place. The Mauve river, which flows through the town, adds to its authentic charm.
