The Brocante-Vide-greniers of Labrosse

Nestled in the southern Gâtinais, 7 kilometers from Malesherbes, the village of Labrosse — now part of the new commune of Le Malesherbois — organizes its annual flea market and car boot sale every end of June. On rue de Maisoncelle, exhibitors set up their stalls for a day of rural antique hunting in a preserved bucolic setting.

A village of character in the Gâtinais

Labrosse is a small village of character with limestone houses and flowery gardens, surrounded by large cereal plains and woods. Integrated into the new commune of Le Malesherbois since 2016, it retains its own identity and autonomous community life. The annual flea market is one of the highlights of village life, bringing together residents and visitors around a common passion for antique hunting and old objects.

A friendly flea market with entertainment

The Labrosse flea market is distinguished by its particularly friendly atmosphere. In addition to the car boot sale and flea market stalls offering clothes, books, toys, trinkets, and furniture, the day includes a tombola with many prizes to be won, on-site catering, and entertainment. These elements make the event much more than just a flea market: a true village festival.

Rue de Maisoncelle: the antique hunting route

The stalls extend along rue de Maisoncelle and the adjacent village streets. This human-sized route allows visitors to take their time, chat with exhibitors, and find great treasures. Everyday objects, home goods, books, children's toys, and trinkets of all kinds make up the offerings of local exhibitors.

Practical Information

The flea market is held in the late morning and afternoon. Catering and entertainment are provided by local volunteers. Entry is free for all visitors. To get there from Malesherbes, take the direction of Labrosse, about 7 km away.
