An exceptional wooded site for a major flea market

The Brocante Vide-Greniers de Farges stands out for its remarkable natural setting: the Farges leisure area, nestled in a green setting in Saint-Marc-à-Frongier. This wooded site, ideal for open-air treasure hunting, offers shade and coolness even in the height of summer, transforming this day into a true bucolic stroll among the stalls. With over 200 exhibitors each year, this flea market has established itself as one of the most important in the Creuse department.

Located near Aubusson, the world capital of tapestry and a UNESCO World Heritage site, the commune of Saint-Marc-à-Frongier lies on the foothills of the Millevaches plateau. This preserved rural territory, dotted with beech forests and fish-filled rivers, attracts thousands of visitors each summer in search of authenticity. The Farges flea market is fully integrated into this tourist dynamic, offering treasure hunters the opportunity to discover exceptional natural and artisanal heritage.

200 exhibitors and a festive atmosphere

From 7 am, exhibitors set up on the site without prior reservation. Antique dealers and individuals mingle their stalls along the shaded paths of the park, offering a range of finds: antique furniture, porcelain tableware, country tools, trinkets, books, vinyl records, and curiosities of all kinds. Catering is provided all day with over ten dishes to choose from, a guinguette in the afternoon, and a dinner dance in the evening accompanied by an orchestra, by reservation.

Information for exhibitors

Pitch is available at €2 per linear meter, without prior reservation: sellers register directly on site on the morning of the event. This flexible arrangement encourages broad and spontaneous participation, contributing to the richness and diversity of the stalls. The site has parking and easy access from Aubusson and the main roads of the department.
