Annual flea market and car boot sale on the first Sunday of June, Place d'Oron la Ville in Bussac-sur-Charente
Every first Sunday of June, the town of Bussac-sur-Charente, located at the gates of Saintes in the Charente-Maritime department, hosts its traditional flea market and car boot sale. The event, organized by the Foyer Rural, takes place on the Place d'Oron la Ville and along the departmental road.
Between 50 and 100 exhibitors, both private individuals and professionals, set up their outdoor stalls along the square and the road. You can find a varied offer: antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, vintage clothing, toys, books, and collector's items. The rate for exhibitors is €2.50 per linear meter, with a minimum of 5 meters if the vehicle remains near the stand.
Bussac-sur-Charente is a peaceful town in the Charente Valley, a few minutes from Saintes. The village benefits from a green setting between vineyards and meadows, typical of Saintonge. The flea market is an opportunity to discover this authentic village while enjoying a day of outdoor bargain hunting.
The Foyer Rural takes care of the welcome: coffee and aperitif are offered to exhibitors who have booked in advance. Visitors and sellers can enjoy a refreshment stand and a catering area throughout the day.
