Flea market and car boot sale at the Maison du Patrimoine of Saint-Aubin
Twice a year, in spring and autumn, the small village of Saint-Aubin in the Jura region hosts a friendly car boot sale at the Maison du Patrimoine. This venue, which usually houses exhibitions on local history, transforms for a day into a second-hand market where about fifty exhibitors offer their finds.
The Maison du Patrimoine offers an original and sheltered setting for this car boot sale. Visitors can find old tableware, clothing, books, toys, and all sorts of trinkets at affordable prices. The exhibitor spot is offered at 2 euros per linear meter, an accessible rate that encourages private participation.
The spring edition is generally held in April, while the autumn session takes place in October. This biannual rhythm allows residents to declutter regularly and bargain hunters to discover new items. A refreshment stand with coffee, tea, and pastries welcomes early visitors, complemented by a light meal service.
Located about twenty kilometers south of Dole, Saint-Aubin is a peaceful village in the Jura plain. Its Maison du Patrimoine testifies to the commune's commitment to preserving its history and local traditions.
