Flea market car boot sale, vintage vehicle exhibition and local producers market in Champdolent
Every year in June, the small village of Champdolent in Charente-Maritime organizes a unique event combining a flea market car boot sale, a vintage vehicle exhibition, and a local producers market. This triple event, held on rue de la Charente and rue des Écluses, attracts bargain hunters, classic car enthusiasts, and foodies looking for local flavors.
Champdolent is a rural commune nestled in the Charente valley, between Saint-Savinien and Tonnay-Charente. This peaceful village, crossed by the river, retains an authentic charm with its stone houses, its locks, and its lush vegetation along the banks. Rue de la Charente and rue des Écluses, which run along the waterway, offer an ideal bucolic setting for this festive day.
The originality of the Champdolent event lies in the combination of three complementary worlds. The flea market and car boot sale stalls offer the traditional array of crockery, trinkets, clothing, and second-hand items. The vintage vehicle exhibition delights lovers of beautiful bodywork and vintage engines. The local producers market allows you to taste and buy specialties from the Saintongeais region: goat cheeses, honey, wines, jams, and artisanal charcuterie.
Organized jointly by the town hall of Champdolent and the association Les Amis de Champdolent, the event benefits from strong local roots. On-site catering, provided by Les Amis de Champdolent, allows for lunch in a country atmosphere. The exhibitor space at €4 for 4 m² makes participation accessible to all, with setup possible from 6:30 am. Reservations are mandatory with the organizers.
The Champdolent flea market and garage sale, producers' market, and vintage car exhibition returns on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 8 AM to 6 PM, on rue de la Charente and rue des Écluses, in the town center. Free entry for bargain hunters and visitors.
