Flea market and car boot sale on August 15th in the village of La Perche, south of Cher
The Brocante Vide-Grenier de La Perche takes place every year on August 15th, Assumption Day, in the village streets. This traditional village festival date is an opportunity for the inhabitants of La Perche and neighboring communes to gather for a summer day of treasure hunting. From 8 am, exhibitors set up their stalls along the village's stone facades.
La Perche is a small rural commune in the south of Cher, located between Saint-Amand-Montrond and Dun-sur-Auron, in the rolling landscape of Boischaut Nord. This village in Berry, away from major roads, retains an authentic character with its stone houses, farms, and country paths. The village center is the heart of communal life, and the August 15th flea market is one of the summer highlights.
Exhibitors offer furniture, trinkets, tableware, books, toys, clothing, antique linens, and decorative objects. The atmosphere is village-like and friendly, with families and treasure hunters coming from all over the Saint-Amand-Montrond and Dun-sur-Auron area. The refreshment stand and food stall allow visitors to cool down and have lunch on site. Entry is free.
From Saint-Amand-Montrond, take the D2144 towards Dun-sur-Auron, then follow the signs for La Perche (approximately 15 minutes). From Bourges, take the D2076 then the D2144 (approximately 45 minutes).
Free parking in the village streets.
From 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
