The Grande Brocante Couverte: 4,000 m² of treasures in Saint-Amand-Montrond

Each early November, the Samexpo center in Saint-Amand-Montrond transforms into a huge covered market dedicated to antiques and art objects. Organized by the A.V.A.C.e association, this large covered flea market occupies 4,000 m² of indoor space, offering bargain hunters optimal comfort regardless of the weather, with a wide selection of antique furniture, decorative objects, and curiosities.

Antiques, art objects, and nostalgia from the 60s-70s

Between 50 and 100 exhibitors, a mix of professional flea market dealers and passionate individuals, set up in the aisles of Samexpo to offer a wide range of items: antique furniture, tableware, glassware, lighting, paintings, vintage jewelry, old books, and decorative objects. Special attention is paid to items from the 60s and 70s, highly sought after by lovers of retro design and vintage decoration.

A friendly two-day format

The Grande Brocante Couverte takes place over two days, from Saturday to Sunday of All Saints' Day weekend, from 6:30 am to 6 pm. Exhibitors set up the day before from 2 pm to 7 pm, at a rate of €6 per linear meter for one day or €10 for two days. A refreshment stand and on-site catering allow visitors to spend the day comfortably, while Samexpo's large free parking makes access easy.

Samexpo and Saint-Amand-Montrond

The Samexpo center, located at 20 quai Pluviôse along the Berry Canal, is the main exhibition space in Saint-Amand-Montrond. This sub-prefecture of Cher, rich in its medieval heritage, gardens, and canal, is a popular stop for flea market dealers and antique dealers in the Center of France. The Grande Brocante Couverte contributes to the winter animation of the town, attracting visitors from all over Berry and neighboring departments.
