A flea market in an exceptional heritage setting

The Brocante Vide-Grenier de Crocq stands out for its remarkable setting: the park of Château Cornudet and the surroundings of the castle, in the heart of this medieval town perched at 800 meters altitude on the Millevaches plateau. Organized by the association of the Friends of Château Cornudet, this summer event brings together about 70 exhibitors, professionals and individuals, for a day dedicated to treasure hunting and great finds.

Château Cornudet, the setting for the flea market

The Château Cornudet, a former bourgeois residence from the 19th century, overlooks the town of Crocq from its tree-lined park. The Friends of Château Cornudet association works to preserve and promote this local heritage. The castle park and the Grande Rue offer a generous and shaded space for setting up stalls, creating a unique atmosphere between built heritage and preserved nature.

A former medieval stronghold, Crocq retains the impressive remains of its two 12th-century towers, classified as historical monuments. The town, located at the crossroads between Aubusson and Clermont-Ferrand, played a strategic role in the Middle Ages. Today, its architectural heritage, its Chapel of the Visitation, and its preserved natural environment make it a popular resort, attracting artists and nature lovers to this high granite plateau.

Information for exhibitors

Registration is mandatory with Jacques Lemaître. The pitch is charged at 2 euros per linear meter, with a minimum of 10 meters for trucks and 8 meters for cars remaining on the pitch. Setup starts in the morning and the event continues all day with refreshments and food provided by the association.
