Annual flea market and car boot sale in the Chaumont town hall park
Every summer in July, the village of Chaumont hosts its annual flea market and car boot sale in the town hall park, a green and shaded setting particularly appreciated by bargain hunters in the heart of summer. Organized by the Comité des fêtes de Chaumont, this outdoor event brings together exhibitors and visitors in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.
The Chaumont town hall park offers an ideal setting for this summer flea market. The century-old trees provide welcome shade in July, and the park's paths allow visitors to stroll comfortably between the stalls. Exhibitors set up their stalls on the lawns and paths, offering a varied assortment of antique furniture, crockery, tools, books, trinkets, and all sorts of flea market items.
Chaumont, postal code 18350, is located in the south of the Cher department, within the Berry Grand Sud community of communes. This small village, perched at an altitude of 252 meters, offers a panorama of the Boischaut hills and the Allier valley. Its rural heritage, with its church and stone houses, bears witness to the agricultural history of this part of Berry. The town hall park flea market helps to liven up this village during the summer season.
The flea market is held in July in the Chaumont town hall park. Free entry for visitors. Refreshments and food available on site.
