Each year in May, the Lions Club Périgord Renaissance organizes a flea market and car boot sale in the park of Maison Saint-Vincent de Paul in Château-l'Évêque. This green setting located at 24 rue d'Angoulême offers an exceptional setting for this day dedicated to bargain hunting, crafts, and plants.

A triple concept: car boot sale, crafts, and plants

The originality of this event lies in the triple offering proposed to visitors: a car boot sale with around 75 exhibitors, a craft market showcasing local know-how, and a plant market for gardening enthusiasts. This diversity attracts a varied audience and contributes to the animation of the day from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Château-l'Évêque, between heritage and nature

Château-l'Évêque is a commune located about ten kilometers north of Périgueux. Its episcopal castle, which gave the village its name, is a historical monument where Saint Vincent de Paul was ordained a priest in 1600. The park of Maison Saint-Vincent de Paul perpetuates this historical link in a green and peaceful setting.

Free and friendly

Notably, the pitches are free for exhibitors, subject to mandatory reservation. Coffee is offered to each exhibitor upon arrival. Entry is free for visitors, and refreshments and food are available on site. The profits from the event are donated to the Lions Club's charitable activities.
