The 2025 edition of the Brocante de Saint-Hilaire-du-Bois took place on Sunday, May 4th, on the village green by the pond, in the heart of the village. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes, this country-style day brought together about fifty exhibitors offering flea market items, flowers, plants, and regional products. Fishing in the pond and fairground rides enlivened this family day in the Haute-Saintonge countryside, in a friendly format appreciated by the canton's residents.

Review of the 2025 Edition
On Sunday, May 4, 2025, the village green by the pond in Saint-Hilaire-du-Bois hosted the annual flea market organized by the Comité des Fêtes. From 6:30 AM, visitors could browse the stalls set up around the communal pond, discovering trinkets, antique crockery, used books, and attic curiosities.
The sale of flowers and plants, a tradition at this time of spring, attracted gardening enthusiasts looking to stock up for the season. Regional products from Haute-Saintonge were also featured, while fishing in the pond and fairground rides delighted the younger visitors. On-site catering allowed bargain hunters to extend their visit in a relaxed, country atmosphere.
The Comité des Fêtes is already preparing for the 2026 edition, scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd, again on the village green by the pond.
