Every year in May, the small village of Saint-Hilaire-du-Bois hosts its annual flea market on the village green by the pond, a vast green space located in the heart of the village. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes of Saint-Hilaire-du-Bois, this friendly event brings together between 50 and 100 exhibitors from the early morning hours, in a typical rural festive atmosphere of the Charente countryside.

Flea Market, Flowers, and Regional Products

The uniqueness of this flea market lies in the diversity of its offerings. Alongside traditional stalls of trinkets, crockery, books, and attic finds, visitors can discover a sale of flowers and plants, as well as regional products. This combination of a flea market and a spring fair gives the event an original character, attracting both bargain hunters and gardening and local produce enthusiasts from the Saintonge region.
