The Nozeroy flea market, treasure hunting in a medieval town

For over 35 years, the Nozeroy flea market has been an unmissable summer event in Haut-Jura. Organized by APERN (Association pour l'Événementiel et la Randonnée de Nozeroy), it brings together around 140 exhibitors in the picturesque streets of this former capital of the lordship of Chalon-Arlay.

Nozeroy, the smallest town in France

Nozeroy is often cited as the smallest town in France, a medieval city perched at an altitude of 800 meters on a rocky outcrop in the Haut-Jura. Its ramparts, towers, collegiate church, and cobbled streets form an exceptional backdrop for this flea market day. The main street, Rue Saint-Antoine, and the park alleys offer a unique treasure hunting route, between medieval remains and panoramas of the Jura mountains.

An event rooted in tradition

The flea market welcomes both professionals and individuals. The offerings are varied: antiques, collectibles, old tableware, furniture, books, vinyl records, trinkets, and curiosities of all kinds. Light refreshments and drinks are available on site. In the evening, visitors who wish can extend the day with a meal at the Saloir des Remparts (by reservation). Parking with disabled spaces is available at the entrance to the town.
