The Spring Flea Market, a major event for flea market enthusiasts in Besançon

Organized by Micropolis SEMM in the heart of the Besançon exhibition and congress center, the Spring Flea Market is one of the highlights of the flea market calendar in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Welcoming over 200 professional dealers and antique dealers for two days — generally the first or second weekend of March — it mobilizes the spacious halls of Micropolis to offer visitors a large-scale treasure hunt experience, sheltered from the spring weather.

The event takes place from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday, allowing visitors to take their time browsing the aisles in search of that rare find. The deployed area can accommodate a wide variety of exhibitors, from general dealers to specialists recognized in a particular field — period furniture, silverware, ceramics, antique toys, cameras, watches, or clocks.

Over 200 exhibitors, an exceptional offering

The strength of Micropolis's Spring Flea Market lies in the quality and diversity of its exhibitors. The selected dealers and antique dealers come from all over France and sometimes from neighboring countries — Switzerland, Germany, Belgium — bringing with them items that are hard to find locally. The offering covers a very wide spectrum: tableware and silverware, antique furniture and 20th-century design, paintings and sculptures, textiles and lace, jewelry and watches, books and prints, curiosities and scientific instruments, decorative arts and art ceramics.

The 2026 edition will be held on Saturday, March 7th and Sunday, March 8th, confirming the tradition of a season opening at the beginning of spring. France Bleu Besançon is a regular partner of the event, contributing to its regional notoriety.

Prices and access

Admission is set at €3 for adults, with free entry for those under 16. Micropolis's large car park can comfortably accommodate the many vehicles of visitors who sometimes come from afar. The site is also accessible by tram from the center of Besançon (Micropolis stop on Boulevard Salvador Allende).
