For many years, the Micropolis exhibition and congress center, located at 3 boulevard Ouest in Besançon, has hosted a professional flea market every second Sunday of the month—except in August—which has established itself as one of the most important flea market events in the Doubs department. Bringing together between 60 and 80 professional dealers in a covered area of 3,000 m², this monthly event offers an exceptional selection of objects, furniture, and collectible items.

The organization is managed by Micropolis SEMM, the management structure of the Besançon exhibition park. The indoor setting, spacious and bright, offers comfortable visiting conditions regardless of the season, which contrasts favorably with outdoor flea markets subject to the whims of the weather. Exhibitors set up at dawn to be ready to welcome visitors from 8 am.

A professional and diverse offering

The dealers present at the Micropolis monthly market are licensed professionals who offer a carefully chosen selection: unusual objects, vintage and trendy items, furniture to be restored, tableware, collectibles, antique and design decoration. You can find silverware and fine china as well as old toys, tools, cameras, jewelry, prints, and rare books. The professional quality of the offering guarantees the authenticity of the items and the expertise of the sellers, who are able to inform buyers about the history and value of the objects.

An event appreciated by collectors from the region and beyond

The monthly flea market at Micropolis attracts a loyal audience from all over the Doubs department, as well as from neighboring departments (Haute-Saône, Jura, Haute-Marne) and even from neighboring Switzerland. Its reputation for seriousness and the consistent quality of the exhibitors have made it a benchmark event in the region. Entry is completely free for visitors, and the large Micropolis parking lot makes car access easy. The site is also served by the tram (Micropolis stop on Boulevard Salvador Allende).

Note that special editions, larger in terms of space and exhibitors, are organized in March (Spring Flea Market), June, and December (Christmas Flea Market), complementing the usual monthly calendar.
