Flea market and plant market in La Vernelle, at the gates of Sologne and Cher in the Indre
The flea market and plant market of La Vernelle welcomes around 100 exhibitors who mix flea market finds and horticulture. The flea market stalls offer garden tableware, old watering cans, tools, garden furniture, botany books, trinkets, clothing, toys, and second-hand objects. The plant market complements the offer with perennials, shrubs, vegetable plants, aromatic plants, seasonal flowers, and seeds. This original combination makes this event a must-attend for lovers of gardening and flea markets.
La Vernelle is a commune of about 400 inhabitants located in the extreme north of the Indre, at the gates of Sologne and on the border of Loir-et-Cher. The village is situated in a transitional landscape between the large cultivated fields of the Champagne berrichonne and the forests and ponds of Sologne. The commune is close to Valençay and its famous castle. The sandy soils and the pine and oak woods already announce the Solognot landscapes.
The La Vernelle flea market is the ideal opportunity to prepare for the gardening season while hunting for treasures. Food is available on site. Admission is free.
