Every summer in August, this flea market is part of the program for the Fête de Vauveix Plage, a festive event that combines a market, entertainment, music, and a raffle in a preserved natural environment.

Lake Vassivière, created in 1950 for hydroelectric power generation, covers nearly 1,000 hectares between the Creuse and Haute-Vienne departments. Vauveix beach, accessible from Royère-de-Vassivière, is one of the most popular access points to the lake, offering supervised swimming, water activities, and relaxation areas.
