Place Montfort Vaison-la-Romaine Antiques Fair

A monthly professional antiques market

A Haut-Vaucluse institution since 2008, the Place Montfort market is held every third Sunday of the month in Vaison-la-Romaine. Organised by AAB – Antiquaires et Brocanteurs – it gathers on average 25 selected professional dealers. From 8 am to 6 pm, the beautiful shaded central square fills with stalls devoted to antiques, collectibles and decorative arts.

Place Montfort, the setting

Place Montfort is one of the largest and most emblematic squares of Vaison-la-Romaine. Lined with century-old plane trees, framed by cafés and terraces, it embodies the Provençal art of living. It also hosts the renowned Tuesday morning traditional market.

What you'll find

Professional dealers present quality antique furniture (Provençal chests, wardrobes, armchairs), paintings, silverware, porcelain and earthenware, old books and postcards, clockwork, jewellery and collection watches, curiosities and decor. Provençal style and 18th-20th century dominate.
