The Place du Corbeau Brocante is a popular event among Strasbourg bargain hunters, held in one of the most historic places of the old centre. The Place du Corbeau, located on the right bank of the Ill just before the bridge of the same name, owes its name to the old Raven inn (Rabenhof), a medieval hostelry where Turenne, Frederick II of Prussia and Jean-Jacques Rousseau stayed.
