The flea market of the MFR of Salins-les-Bains

Each spring, first-year SAPAT (Services to People and Animation in Territories) students from the Maison Familiale Rurale of Salins-les-Bains organize a flea market on their school's premises. It's a real educational project for them: from logistical organization to communication, including managing the refreshment stand and the raffle, the students are in charge of the entire event.

Bargains and conviviality

From 9 am to 5:30 pm, exhibitors fill the MFR spaces to offer their second-hand items. Stall space is available at a very affordable rate of 2 euros per linear meter, encouraging individuals to clear out their attics. Visitors can find tableware, clothing, toys, books, and various trinkets on the stalls.

Raffle and catering

The day is punctuated by activities: a raffle with prizes to be won and a refreshment and catering service run by the students and their supervisors. It's an opportunity to have a friendly time while supporting the MFR's projects.

Located at 15 route de Blégny, the Maison Familiale Rurale of Salins-les-Bains is a work-study training institution that prepares young people for careers in personal services and territorial animation. The annual flea market is an integral part of their curriculum and helps finance educational trips and projects.
