Prices are soft and negotiation remains part of the village flea market tradition.

The flea market visit can easily extend into a discovery of the Fontainebleau forest, one of Europe's most beautiful forests, classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Hiking trails, the famous sandstone boulders beloved by climbers, and remarkable sites like the Franchard or Apremont gorges are accessible within minutes by car. The royal Fontainebleau castle, a jewel of the French Renaissance, is also just nearby for a perfect cultural getaway.
