Each year, on the 4th Sunday of July, the Étang du Roger site in Thenay hosts one of the largest flea markets in the south of Loir-et-Cher. With over 300 exhibitors — individuals and professionals — the event attracts bargain hunters from all over the region.
An exceptional natural setting
The Étang du Roger offers a green and shaded environment, ideal for a summer day of treasure hunting. From 6 am to 6 pm, visitors browse the stalls offering crockery, furniture, trinkets, old toys, vintage clothing, and many other treasures.
Catering and conviviality
The Comité des Fêtes de Thenay, organizer of the event, offers on-site catering and a refreshment stand to cool off. Parking is available nearby and restrooms are provided. The open air and proximity to the water add to the charm of this event.
